According to the Sun, Manchester United and Brazilian winger Antony of Ajax have reached a personal agreement and are preparing a new £80 million offer this week.

Given their shaky start to the season, United is frantically trying to bolster their new manager Erik ten Hag’s team.

United fell to Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 in their Premier League season opener at Old Trafford.

They then suffered a humiliating 4-0 loss at Brentford as a result.

Antony is in favor of moving to United and missed Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Sparta Rotterdam because he didn’t train on Saturday.

Additionally, according to Nicolo Schira, United and Antony have already come to terms on personal terms.

The 22-year-old Brazilian star has signed a five-year deal that will keep him at Old Trafford through 2027.

United expects to complete a transfer this week and is preparing a fresh £80 million offer to try and entice Ajax into selling.

Steven Bergwijn, a former star for Tottenham who scored the game-winning goal on Sunday, has wished Antony luck and said that “everyone has dreams.”

“Antony? All humans have dreams, he said.

“I wish him the best if it does happen. Although everyone has dreams, I would find it sad if he left.
