Tusker FC called up to the Tanzanian national team

Ibrahim Joshua of Tusker FC has been called up to the Tanzanian national team for the first time ahead of their friendlies later this month.

Joshua joined Tusker from Tanzania’s Ken Gold FC last year and has been a regular member of the Robert Matano team, scoring seven goals for his club this season.

The opponents the Taifa Stars will face in the FIFA window are yet unknown, but Joshua will be thrilled to be with a bunch of players who have continuously represented the national team’s colors.

Captain Mbwana Sammatta, who presently plays for Antwerp in Belgium, midfielder Simon Msuva of Wydad in Morocco, and youngster Kelvin John of Genk in Belgium are among the famous names on the roster, with the local contingent being drawn from Yanga SC and Simba.
