Ighalo’s has scored 4 goals in 3 starts and has tally up to 8 games so far United since joining in January,
and has offered this mouthwatering deal by his parent club following his scintillating form on his return to England.
Ighalo’s current form has led to calls for a permanent deal for the Nigerian at Old Trafford,
or at least an extension.
His forward’s contract with Shanghai has now been extended to December 2024 from the original expiry date which was due by December 2022.
Meanwhile, his current loan spell at Old Trafford is due to expire on 31st may
but, due to the Covi-19 virus outbreak it will be extended till June 30th.
He took a pay-cut to join his boyhood club, Manchester United on the last day of the January transfer window,
but will be forced to choose between escalating his bank balance or continue his dream of playing for Manchester United,
if he is given a permanent contract at the end of his loan.
