According to the Daily Mail, the English Premier League plans to restart fixtures that will be played behind closed doors.
Officials are considering Sunday, July 12 as the scheduled closing date.
On Friday the 20 clubs will address the plans thoroughly at a conference call.
However, the government, public health bodies and the PFA would have to approve it.
The Premier League is attempting to counter financial damages and possible legal challenges caused by shutdown of the coronavirus.
There are commitments with networks, who have a £ 3billion-a-year watertight contract that ends on July 31, with the new season contract kicking the next day.
