A Ghanaian Gold Miner Expressed Interest in Chelsea.

Bernard Antwi Boasiako, the owner of a gold mine in Ghana, has indicated interest in purchasing Chelsea FC of the Premier League.

Roman Abramovich, the club’s owner, revealed that he was selling the club, with a number of parties expressing interest in taking over the squad, which has performed admirably under his leadership.

In an interview with Ghana’s Wontumi FM radio station, Boasiako disclosed his ambitious aspirations to buy the club, revealing that he has already identified three of the world’s best players to sign and one to sell.

“I want to go and buy Chelsea Football Club. I am interested in it. Those who buy clubs are not footballers, but business people. I am also a businessman. I’m into gold mining. Why can’t we buy the club?

“I want to join the bidding. If I become the owner, I want the Brazilian player at Real Madrid, Vinicius Jr and to sell off Romelu Lukaku. I will speak with Manchester United to see if I can also buy Cristiano Ronaldo for Chelsea. I’d also look at signing Lionel Messi.

“Roman Abramovich has done his best. It is now time for him to support a Ghanaian or an African to buy Chelsea,” the Ghanaian said.

Chelsea has set a March 15 deadline for bidders to purchase the club, and Boasiako will have to submit his papers before then if he wants to be considered.
