To sell Morgan Gibbs-White this summer in the face of interest from Everton and Nottingham Forest, Wolves will ask for a total of about £25 million.
Even though he has been given a new contract, Gibbs-White has two years left on his current one at Molineux and has not yet accepted it.
After a standout year on loan at Sheffield United, the 22-year-old has returned to Wolves for preseason play, but Bruno Lage, who was happy to let Gibbs-White leave the team last season, has doubts about his future.
Forest manager Steve Cooper, who collaborated with Gibbs-White at Swansea and with the England Under-17 team, is a big fan of the player. Everton sporting director Kevin Thelwell held a comparable position at Wolves when Gibbs-White first broke through as an academy product.

Wolves would be more than happy for Gibbs-White to remain at the club and earn a chance under Lage with a strong preseason, but there is a sense that a fee in excess of £20m may be too good to pass up for a player who has – so far – been in no rush to sign a contract.
Also up for debate is how well he would mesh with Lage’s strategy.
Adama Traore, who is returning to the club after a loan stint at Barcelona and is entering the final year of his contract, is another player for whom Wolves are still open to offers.
