Poyet cautions Chelsea against signing a player who is linked to the club.

Gus Poyet, a former Chelsea player, cautions Chelsea against signing a player who is linked to the club. He thinks the Blues should pass on Neymar Jr. this summer. Or the Brazilian will struggle to adjust to the Premier League’s toughness.

Neymar is quite likely to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to Le Parisien (via Get Football News France). Thiago Silva, a Blues defender and his countryman, has been pleading with him to sign with the west London club this summer.

Poyet, nevertheless, holds a different opinion. In a conversation with LordPing, he stated:

“NEYMAR should not be sought by chelsea. I guess he’ll remain at PSG. I believe that with MBAPPE’s announcement that he would be staying and given their desire to compete for the Champions League, I don’t see him leaving “.

“Given how physically demanding English football is, I don’t think he would adjust to it quickly. I cannot see him being a part of chelsea”.

Chelsea continues to await Raphinha’s choice.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer analyst, claims that the Blues are still awaiting Raphinha’s decision from Leeds United. He is weighing his options between Barcelona and the west London side with his agent Deco.

Leeds wants to accept Chelsea’s offer for the Brazilian in place of the Catalan club’s. According to a different report by Romano, while the Blues’ offer of £60 million meets Leeds’ requirements, Barcelona’s offer does not.

Everyone is awaiting the decision of Raphinha and his agency. The Brazilian participated in 35 Premier League games last season, scoring 11 goals and dishing out three assists. He was a major factor in Leeds’ ability to avoid relegation on the penultimate day.

Regardless of which side he decides to switch to this summer, he will undoubtedly get better. It’s noteworthy to note that Deco has played for both teams with an interest in Raphinha in the past.
