Head coach Stanley Eguma of Enyimba is certain his team will advance to the CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sunday’s matchday five match between the People’s Elephant and Al Masry of Egypt ended in a 1-1 tie at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.<\/p>\n

The outcome jeopardized their prospects of qualifying for the knockout stage.<\/p>\n

The Aba giants will do everything in their power to advance past the group stage, according to Eguma.<\/p>\n

“The road doesn’t end here. In an interview conducted after the game, Eguma said, “We still have the next game to play.”<\/p>\n

“We can travel to Egypt if Al Masry is able to come here and play the game of their lives. Who knows what the results of the other games will be. We remain hopeful; it won’t be over until it is.<\/p>\n

In their final group match on Sunday, Enyimba will travel to play holders Zamalek.<\/p>\n

With five points, the two-time African champions are ranked third in Group D.<\/p>\n
