Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, believes that winning the Premier League is more difficult than winning the Champions League.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, are aiming for their fourth domestic title in five seasons on Sunday.<\/p>\n

City will win their fourth domestic title in five seasons if they defeat Aston Villa in their final league game on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Defending champions Liverpool might finish the season on a high even if they don’t win the league, as they will meet Real Madrid in the Champions League final, something Guardiola has yet to achieve during his time at City.<\/p>\n

Guardiola, on the other hand, believes the Premier League is the more valuable trophy.<\/p>\n

“I believe it is more challenging. The Spaniard was quoted in the Irish Times as saying, “There are a lot of weeks and games, challenges with injuries, good and bad times with varied scenarios, strong opponents.”<\/p>\n

“It’s rewarding because it happens every day.” When you fight for the Premier League and come out on top at the end, it gives you the impression that you are having a great time. When you win, we are happier in our life.<\/p>\n

“It [makes for] nice training sessions, a good setting, and a good mindset when you win and win.” It’s not like the FA Cup or a single match; it’s a regular occurrence.<\/p>\n

“I’m not dismissing the Champions League. To win it, we’re insane. It’s something we want, something we adore.<\/p>\n

“We’d love to be in Paris [for the final] next week, but winning 38 games instead of six, eight, or nine is a different experience.”<\/p>\n

“I’ve always enjoyed it, ever since I started playing.” We’re on the verge of joining the league. “We’re on the verge of making it.”<\/p>\n

Guardiola won the Champions League twice as a manager of Barcelona, in 2009 and 2011, but lost in the final last season with City.<\/p>\n
