Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Bernardo Silva could join Barcelona this summer.
Barcelona President Juan Laporta joked during the announcement of Barcelona’s charity game versus Manchester United on August 24th that Silva would be on Barca’s side.
Pep Guardiola, who was also there for the news, responded by claiming that City will be “Bernardo Silva and 10 more” on August 24 at the Camp Nou.
The charity match, which will take place on August 24 at Camp Nou, will raise money for ALS research.
Later in the press conference, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola revealed the genuine picture of Silva’s future.

Guardiola has stated that he dislikes forcing players who do not want to stay at the club to do so, despite the fact that he wants Silva to remain at City.
“Two clubs like Barcelona and Manchester City, the names vary, there are a lot of them,” Guardiola explained.
“For the time being, I believe Bernardo will stay with us.” As a club, we want him to stay, but I’ve always stated that I don’t want players who don’t want to be with us.
“However, Bernardo is vital, and I believe he will remain.” True, he could join Barcelona, but I’m not sure what will happen.”
