Umar Sadiq, a forward for the Super Eagles, is expected to sign a permanent deal with German side Borussia Dortmund.
Following the testicular tumor diagnosis of Cameroonian Sebastian Haller, Dortmund are searching for a replacement striker.
Haller was acquired by the former European champions to replace Erling Haaland, a player from Norway who transferred to Manchester City.
Due to the setback, Haller is now anticipated to miss several months of action.
According to reports, Dortmund and Sadiq have reached an agreement, and Dortmund will pay up to €30 million, including add-ons.
The 25-year-old contributed to Almeria’s promotion to LaLiga last season by tallying 18 goals and 12 assists in 36 league games.
This season, clubs like Benfica, Villarreal, Sevilla, and Valencia have been mentioned in connection with Sadiq.
