The Nigerian team that will compete against Algeria’s Desert Foxes will not include Samuel Chukwueze and Emmanuel Dennis.

Due to injuries, both Chukwueze and Dennis will miss the eagerly awaited friendly matchup with the two-time African champions.

Henry Onyekuru of Adana Demirspor was replaced by Dennis.

Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles, is also out of the contest due to injury.

Saviour Godwin, a forward from Portugal, and Ebube Duru, a left back, have received a last-minute call-up from head coach Jose Peseiro.

Saviour, a player for Casa Pia in Portugal, has competed for Nigeria at the U-17, U-20, and U-23 levels.

Last season, he was instrumental in Casa Pia’s promotion to the Premier League.

Rivers United, champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League, depend heavily on Duru.

The defender took part in Sunday’s CAF Champions League matchup against Watanga FC of Liberia.
