“Luis Diaz plays for Liverpool. Barcelona has a 19-year-old player named Ansu Fati. Leao competes in Serie A, a lower-level competition.

“In my opinion, Sancho and Rashford are superior to Leao; Sancho is outstanding. Leao is a cross between Martial and Dembélé. He doesn’t contribute much because he isn’t worth €150 million and doesn’t average 50 goals per season.

The 23-year-old, however, didn’t let Cassano’s viewpoint disturb him and liked a Twitter post on the words from the former Italy striker.

Style of play

Leo is recognized as a very skilled and technical player who can play on either wing because to his adaptability. He is a very dynamic forward due to his combination of height, leanness, and tremendous top-end and burst pace. He offers a dynamic presence in the attacking line having grown into a center-forward at the youth level. With and without the ball, he stretches and disorients defenses with his movements.

Leo is a skilled dribbler who can create opportunities and assist teammates from the left because of his vision. He drives from long range and then beats opponents one-on-one near the box with technique and changes of pace. Due to his poise and keen eye for goal, he is able to play as a striker within the penalty area and gets into favorable positions through movement and dribbling. Leo was used by Stefano Pioli as a supporting striker or a winger on either side of the field rather than a primary striker during his time as Milan’s manager.
