Enner Valencia has praised Ecuador’s La Tri for defeating Qatar, the tournament’s hosts, in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
On Sunday at the Al Bayt Stadium, Ecuador defeated the Maroon of Qatar by a score of 2-0.
Valencia was taken down in the box in the 16th minute and converted the resulting penalty to score the game’s opening goal.
As of the first matchday, Ecuador is in the lead of Group A with three points.
In the game’s second half, there were no further goals scored.

Upon learning of the triumph, the forward celebrated on his Twitter account.
He tweeted, “Keep calm and believe in Ecuador.”
