Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace has been cautioned by former Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre not to sign with the Gunners this summer.
The 27-year-old’s contract apparently contained a £68 million release clause that expired on August 1st, and the London club has been strongly connected to a move for him.
However, while they continue to consider their options in advance of the 2025–2026 season, the club has not yet made an offer for Eze.
Silvestre told Hajper that competition for spots was the reason the England international should decline the offer to join Arsenal.
Eze Eberechi to Arsenal? Since there is a lot of competition and he enjoys so much freedom and joy at Crystal Palace, I honestly don’t think it would be beneficial for him.
Because of the competition for spots, I believe it would be challenging to attend Arsenal. However, I really like him. He’s been amazing since the beginning.
It’s unfortunate that he has missed some games this season due to a number of muscle issues. However, he excels as a player when healthy.
