But in an interview with talkSPORT, the Dutch strategist seemed to disagree with his compatriot’s evaluation of their offensive alternatives.
“I believe that we have a lot of options that will allow us to win again,” Slot informed talkSPORT.
“I concentrate on myself here. We should be able to win to score with the talent we have. In actuality, we also did it. We only scored once against Palace last season, both at home and away, compared to two goals against them this season.
“We were only able to score one goal against them. Therefore, our attacking quality is currently my last worry.
If I consider how many goals we’ve let up in preseason, it’s more than a worry. That isn’t what we expect.
