Transfer Update: West Ham Want Pellegrini, Valencia Pursue Ramazani, Silva Highlights Fulham Wishlist

According to reports, Lorenzo Pellegrini, a midfielder for Roma, is a target for West Ham United.

Following a dismal start to the current Premier League season, the Hammers are searching for reinforcements.

West Ham was defeated 5-1 at home against Chelsea on Friday after losing 3-0 against recently promoted Sunderland in their opening match.

Sky Sport Italia claims that the Hammers are considering adding Pellegrini to bolster their midfield.

After Gian Piero Gasperini was hired as manager, the 29-year-old, who has lost the captaincy this season, appears to have lost favour.

Given that Pellegrini’s contract is slated to expire at the end of the current campaign, the Roma manager has indicated that he will not be offered a new one.

Pellegrini may want to stay for the last year of his contract, but West Ham is one of several teams interested in a possible transfer.

Leeds winger is on the verge of moving to La Liga

Largie Ramazani, an attacker for Leeds United, is supposedly going to sign a loan deal with Valencia.

Since joining Leeds from Spanish club Almeria last summer, the 24-year-old has had difficulty getting consistent playing time.

Ramazani was an unutilised replacement for the team’s victory over Everton on the first day of the Premier League season, and his 29 appearances during the promotion-winning campaign amounted to just seven starts.

As he nears a departure before the summer transfer deadline, the winger was left out of the squad for Saturday’s 5-0 loss to Arsenal.

Ramazani is anticipated to sign a season-long loan with La Liga team Valencia, per Sky Sports News.

The attacker will be coached by Carlos Corberan, the former manager of West Bromwich Albion, who recently began his first full season as Valencia’s head coach.

When Ramazani was with Almeria, he made 62 games in La Liga, contributing six goals and six assists.

Silva reveals Fulham transfer wishes.

In other news, Fulham manager Marco Silva has stated that he hopes to add three players before the September 1 deadline for transfers.

With only one addition to their roster since the end of the previous campaign, the Cottagers have had a lacklustre summer window.

The club’s lone recent addition is backup custodian Benjamin Lecomte, as Silva is eager to add players in the last days of the transfer window.

After Sunday’s drew with Manchester United, Silva told reporters, “We have eight or nine days to correct some things.”

“At least three players must be signed before the market closes. We have injuries and play a lot of games; we are lacking at several spots.”

When Fulham hosts Bristol City at Craven Cottage on Wednesday for an EFL Cup second-round match, they will be back in action.
