Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has refuted reports that he plans to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer.
The 30-year-future old’s has been questioned this summer after being linked to City and their Premier League rivals, Chelsea, with new PSG sporting director Luis Campos willing to offload him in the current window.
Guardiola stated that he admires the Brazilian international but does not have any plans to add him to his team in an interview with the UK Sun.
“I’m sorry, but that isn’t the case. Their knowledge is incorrect.
“Neymar is a fantastic player, and from what I’ve heard, he’s also a really nice guy. It’s not right, though.
“City is going to buy 150 players every summer!”
