Rodgers Provides an Update on Ndidi’s Injuries

Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for the Super Eagles, recently sustained an injury, but it is not as severe as first thought, according to Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers.

The Nigerian international was expected to be fit for Leicester City’s preseason match against Hull City today after suffering an injury that caused him to miss the latter part of the previous season. However, a few days ago, while in training, he sustained another injury.

Ndidi’s injury wasn’t serious, though, and he will be ready to play in preseason matches against Derby County and Preston North End, according to Rodgers in an interview with LCFC TV.
