United moves up to 14th while Liverpool drops to 16th on Twitter points after going winless in their first three league games this season.

In the first ten minutes, Anthony Elanga of United nearly opened the scoring but his shot hit the post.

After tricking James Milner inside the box and rolling the ball into the corner on minute 16, Sancho gave United the lead.

When Rashford pounced on Anthony Martial’s through ball and beat Alisson one-on-one in the 53rd minute, United had doubled their advantage.

With nine minutes remaining, Liverpool cut the deficit in half thanks to Salah, who headed the ball into the goal after David De Gea had stopped a shot from Fabio Carvalho.
