Tuesday in Washington, D.C., the nine-time African champion Nigerian Super Falcons and the USA women National Senior Teams square off in the second of two games that will be played there.

At the Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday, the three-time world champions USA thrashed the Falcons 4-0 thanks to a brace from Sophia Smith and one each from Lindsay Horan and Alex Morgan.

The 9th FIFA Women’s World Cup finals, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand in the summer of 2019, have qualified both the USA and Nigeria for competition.

The match will happen on Tuesday at Audi Field in Washington. Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League and D.C. United of Major League Soccer both play at Audi Field; however, despite having played 10 times in Washington (all at RFK Stadium), this will be the USWNT’s first game there.

John Allagh, a former member of the Nigerian basketball team, Prince Tega, an NFL player for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Ochai Agbaji were also present at the straightforward but entertaining session (ex-Nigeria basketball team player).
