The name of PSG striker Kylian Mbappe surfaced in a blackmail scandal involving his France teammate, Paul Pogba, but he has denied any enmity with the Juventus midfielder.
Prior to Tuesday’s Champions League match between PSG and Pogba’s Juventus in Paris, Mbappe was giving a press conference.
When asked if there might be an issue with Pogba, Paris Saint-Germain star Mbappe responded, “No because right now, the way things stand, I prefer to believe what my teammate says.

“He called me and related what happened in his own words. His word is in opposition to that of his brother. I will have faith in my teammate, Mbappe said of the other World Cup champion from last year.
“With a significant tournament coming up, I believe it is also in the national team’s best interests.
He currently faces a number of issues, and it would be inappropriate to add to them at this time.
We’ll see what happens, but I’m not really invested in it.
