Kheira Hamraoui to Join PSG Training After Transfer Window Closes

Kheira Hamraoui, a midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, is reportedly planning to train after the transfer window closes this evening. Hamraoui will be made available to the Parisian coaching staff, although manager Gérard Prêcheur has not yet stated whether he will use her in the upcoming games.

In connection with the investigation into the assault on Hamraoui last November, Aminata Diallo, an ex-teammate, was detained for the second time in less than a year. They were returning from a team dinner when Hamraoui was dragged out and struck on the legs with an iron bar while Diallo was behind the wheel of the vehicle. Before being released without being charged, she was initially detained for 40 hours.

Prior to her court appearance, the 27-year-old is currently being held in a detention facility on a temporary basis. Out of the four men suspected of carrying out the assault, two are currently behind bars.

Given the extensive custody she was previously subjected to, investigators only had 8 hours to question Diallo, but they are reported to have several new pieces of information. According to Le Parisien, the four suspects who had previously been detained testified that they had been instructed to attack Diallo so that she could no longer play football. They claim that a “mysterious intermediary,” who has not been named but has reportedly been connected to Diallo, gave them the operation. The goal, according to rumors, was for Diallo to replace Hamraoui in the PSG and France midfield.
