Argentina’s President – Alejandro Garnacho still has World Cup dreams.

After establishing himself as a starter for Manchester United, Alejandro Garnacho is relishing his breakthrough.

Garnacho’s talent has already been acknowledged by his nation; Lionel Scaloni, the manager of Argentina, called him up to the team earlier this year.

While Garnacho did not participate, he had the chance to train with Lionel Messi and company and demonstrate his abilities.

Since then, the 18-year-old has improved, scoring two game-winning goals and dishing out two assists while playing for Manchester.

Garnacho might be viewed as a little unlucky for not being chosen as a wildcard option when Argentina announced their team last week. Well, there is yet hope.

The World Cup ambitions of Alejandro Garnacho are still alive.

Wednesday’s friendly encounter between Argentina and UAE ended in a 5-0 victory for Argentina, with Lisandro Martinez playing the full 90 minutes.

Manager Lionel Scaloni informed El Sol after the game that he is still willing to make changes to his 26-man squad before the final cutoff, which is 24 hours before Argentina’s opening game the following week.

This is due to the fact that Argentina’s squad has four injured players, all of whom were absent from yesterday’s game and on whom Scaloni is unsure if he will be able to rely for the tournament.

Garnacho would be a wildcard possibility for the World Cup, and Scaloni might use his expertise by bringing him into the team.

History of the World Cup has demonstrated how fearless players can shine at the competition, so if Garnacho were given the chance, you would not bet against him succeeding.

He will have to wait until 2026 if a chance doesn’t present itself.
