Rodri, a midfielder for Manchester City, claims that Pep Guardiola has helped him improve as a player.

Rodri, who along with Aymeric Laporte was chosen to Spain’s 2022 World Cup finals team earlier on Friday, attributes his growth and maturity as a player to Guardiola.

When asked about the City manager’s influence on him, Rodrigo remarked, “He makes me a different player, a top player in the sense of my knowledge of the game, how I have to behave, the role in the team, and other factors that are crucial in the game.”

“I am quite grateful and thrilled about this circumstance. He is among the best, and what most impresses me about him is how much he has accomplished.

He continues to be hungry every day, he is demanding every day, and he doesn’t take time off.

“I’ve been with him for four years, and I’ve had fantastic coaches before. Having him now seems normal to me, yet of course it is not normal.

He undoubtedly creates history wherever he goes, including Barcelona, Bayern, and naturally this place. Since he arrived, I believe the game has altered.
