The game is scheduled to take place in Oran’s New Stadium.
The same day, Ghana withdrew from a scheduled friendly, forcing the Algerian Football Association AFA to find a replacement opponent.
On September 24, Guinea will host the Desert Foxes in their second friendly.

Under coach Djamel Belmadi, this will be the third encounter between the North Africans and the Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles were defeated 2-1 by Belmadi’s team in the opening match of the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
