Former Nigerian goalkeeper Peter Rufai has praised Francis Uzoho for his outstanding performance in the Super Eagles’ Europa League match against Man United on Thursday.
Despite the fact that Man United won the game thanks to a goal from Scott McTominay in stoppage time, Uzoho stood out as the game’s most important player since he kept Man United from scoring 12 goals during the course of regulation.
First-choice goalkeeper Fabiano, who was out due to a shoulder injury, was replaced by Uzoho, Omonoia’s backup goalie, in the starting lineup.
