10 MOST PROFITABLE BOOT DEALS IN FOOTBALL

Check out the 10 Most Profitable Football Boot Deals. Football boots have been manufactured by companies such as Adidas, Nike, and Puma. These companies have done everything in their power to sponsor some of the world’s best footballers.

Football boots are just one of the ways the bands promote their wares by partnering with some of the world’s most well-known athletes who are all linked with a specific sports brand. But who are the footballers that profit from these agreements?

1. Neymar-Puma (£23 million)

Neymar secured the richest individual sponsorship contract in sports history when he decided to switch from Nike to Puma in 2020.

The deal puts him above all professional athletes, not just PSG teammate Messi and United’s Ronaldo. It’s unclear how long the Puma arrangement will remain, but it’s thought to be worth twice as much as Nike was paying him.

2. Lionel Messi-Adidas (£18 million)

Messi has signed a lifetime contract with Adidas, similar to Ronaldo’s with Nike. Under the simple name of Adidas Messi, the 34-year-old has his own sub-brand of boots.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo-Nike (£15m)

Along with basketball players Michael Jordan and LeBron James, Ronaldo is one of three athletes who have signed a lifetime contract with Nike.

The 37-year-old may be nearing the end of his career, but his contract, which reportedly paid him £780 million, should keep him going till he retires.

4. Kylian Mbappe-Nike (£14 million)

The 23-year-old, who is expected to leave PSG for Real Madrid this summer, has been with Nike for some time and has been dubbed the successor apparent to both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s supremacy.
Nike outbid Adidas for his signing, winning a 10-year agreement for roughly £140 million in 2019 after outbidding them.

5. Mario Balotelli-Puma (£5 million)

After breaking through at AC Milan, the 31-year-old is presently playing for Adana Demirspor. He was one of Europe’s brightest talents. When his Nike contract expired, Puma stepped in and offered him a £5 million 10-year agreement with two years left on it.

6. Gareth Bale (£4 million)

Adidas has persevered with one of their own, even when his fortunes on the pitch have diminished. During his pomp, the Welsh forward was a marketing dream, with EA Sports and Lucozade among his sponsors.

7. Antoine Griezmann-Puma (£3.5m)

The seventh best player in the world. Griezmann is one of Puma’s most talented players in Europe. He was already representing the brand before relocating to Barcelona a few years ago, and his £3.5 million-a-year boot agreement with the German brand was extended in 2015.

In 2019, Puma honored him by creating a limited edition boot, the Future 4.1 NETFIT Grizi, priced at £229, to commemorate his 10-year relationship with the brand.

8. Manchester United’s Paul Pogba (£3 million)

Because of his potential and consistent presence on social media, the Frenchman is one of the most important marketing tools in international football. He signed a ten-year deal with Adidas worth roughly £30 million, which will end in 2024.

9. Nike – Marco Verratti (£2.5m)

The Puma brand is well-known among Italians, while Veratti is not. The PSG player, whose contract with Puma terminated in 2017, and who had been wearing blacked-out boots, has since joined Nike and is sporting the Hypervenom Phantom III footwear.

10. Mohamed Salah (Adidas) tenth (£2.5m)

For the past three to four seasons, the Liverpool forward has been one of the best players in the world. Salah, who has previously promoted Pepsi and Vodafone in Egypt, wears a £2.5 million-per-year agreement with Adidas to wear the X18 football footwear.
