Tottenham manager Antonio Conte claims that if the supporters continue to jeer his players, he may be compelled to leave the squad.
The Italian coach announced this following the Spurs’ 2-1 Premier League loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
Remember how Spurs were jeered when they left the field at halftime against Liverpool down 2-0 and having let up the opening goal for six straight games? In the 70th minute, Harry Kane cut the gap, but they were unable to tie the score.
Conte responded by saying, “We have to demonstrate in every moment great respect for our fans.” They are our followers. Tickets are paid for by them. It’s necessary to be honest in every situation, so if you ask whether I was a little disappointed, I’ll admit it.
