In light of Man United’s interest, Christian Pulisic is “set for crunch talks with Chelsea.”

In order to secure a regular first-team position before the World Cup, Christian Pulisic is reportedly preparing to hold difficult negotiations with Chelsea. If his demands are not met, he will reportedly push for a transfer out of the club.

Although Manchester United, Newcastle, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus have all expressed interest in the American winger this summer, he is open to staying at Stamford Bridge provided that his playing time increases.

In addition to signing Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, loaning Romelu Lukaku back to Inter, and selling Timo Werner to his old team Red Bull Leipzig, Chelsea has been very active in the transfer market this summer.

And it appears that American owner Todd Boehly wants to strengthen Thomas Tuchel’s front line even more, as he has already expressed interest in Barcelona star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Everton winger Anthony Gordon.

According to ESPN, the west London club was open to letting Pulisic leave but initially preferred a permanent transfer and would have preferred not to give the USA star to a longtime rival like Manchester United.

In the event that an internal agreement with Pulisic cannot be reached, it is believed that Chelsea will now be open to considering all offers and testing the market.

This season, the 23-year-old has participated in both Premier League games under Tuchel, though each appearance has come from the bench of substitutes.
