Sunday Adetunji, a striker for FC Shkupi, has expressed his joy at helping his team win the Macedonian First Football League title this season.

The Nigerian international, who announced the news on Twitter, expressed his delight at having accomplished one of his initial goals.

“When I first joined FC Shkupi, my goal was to win major titles and lead the team to the top. I’m grateful for the chance to be a part of this family; the managers, coaches, and players all assisted me in settling in. He tweeted, “It was a wonderful season for us.”

Adetunji’s goals were significant for his club this season, as he scored 20 goals in 28 appearances for FC Shkupi in all competitions.

Adetunji has played for several clubs, including Abia Warriors in 2017 and Enyimba in 2018.

He joined the Lobi Stars in January 2019.

In September 2019, he joined Croatian side 1. FK Pribram, his first European club.

In January 2020, he returned to Lobi Stars before joining Plateau United six months later.
